Privacy Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

1. Data Controller
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by EMA Plast, acting as the data controller, within the scope described below.

2. What personal data do we process?
Your personal data is collected only when you fill out the forms on our website. As long as you do not fill out the form, no data that identifies you will be processed.

Additionally, for security and site operation purposes, technical logs (such as transaction times) may be recorded when you submit the form.
Important notice regarding your resume: You determine the content of the file you upload. We do not expect or require you to include special categories of personal data—such as health status, disability, religion, membership in organizations, or criminal convictions—in your resume. We recommend that you do not share such data; if you do, it will be processed solely for the purpose of evaluating your application.
3. For what purposes is your data processed?
- To respond to and follow up on your communication and request for proposals
- Providing product and pricing information, and preparing commercial offers
- Conducting pre-contractual negotiations and entering into a contract
- Evaluating your job application and conducting the hiring process
- Recording your requests and complaints, and improving service quality
- Fulfilling our legal obligations and providing evidence in the event of potential disputes
Your data will not be used for any purposes other than those listed above. We will not send you commercial electronic communications (advertisements, promotions, newsletters) without your explicit consent.

5. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected electronically and directly from you via the contact, quote, and career forms on emaplast.com.tr. No data is obtained from third parties.
6. To whom is your data transferred?
Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is transferred only in the following cases and to the extent necessary:
- Our hosting and email service providers — to ensure form submissions reach our company email address and to store the data (servers located within Turkey)
- Authorized public institutions and organizations — if legally requested, under Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK)
Transfers abroad: Google reCAPTCHA may be used on our site for form security, and Google Analytics may be used at your discretion. Due to these services, technical data (such as IP addresses) may be transferred to Google LLC’s servers located abroad. Personal and contact information you enter into form fields is not transferred to these services. For more details, please review our Cookie Policy.
7. Retention Periods

At the end of this period, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. You retain the right to request that your data be deleted sooner.
8. Your Rights
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK):
- To find out whether your personal data has been processed
- To request information regarding such processing, if it has occurred
- To learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, whether within or outside the country
- To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- Requesting that your personal data be erased or destroyed in accordance with the conditions set forth in the law
- To request that third parties to whom the data has been transferred be notified of any corrections, erasures, or destruction
- Objecting to a decision made solely through automated processing that results in adverse consequences for you
- To request compensation for damages incurred due to processing that violates the law
For processing based on explicit consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
9. Method of Submission
You may submit your requests, along with information verifying your identity in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Submitting Requests to the Data Controller, through the following channels:

- By email: From your email address registered in our system to info@emaplast.com.tr
Your request will be processed free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process incurs additional costs, a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Board may be charged.
If your request is denied or the response is deemed insufficient, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days from the date you receive the response and, in any case, within 60 days from the date of your request.
10. Updates
This privacy notice may be updated in accordance with changes in legislation or our processes. The current version is always published on this page.
